Your Temple exploration starts at 5:00 AM or 8:00am, after your breakfast. Your friendly guide and tuk-tuk driver will pick you up directly from your hotel, whisking you away on a scenic 25-minute ride to Angkor Wat.

Your Sunrise & Temple Exploration

  • 5:25 AM: Experience the magnificent sunrise over Angkor Wat, a truly breathtaking
  • spectacle. Afterward, delve into the 900-year-old temple complex, exploring its intricate carvings and grand architecture with your knowledgeable guide.
  • 8:00 AM: Recharge with a delicious breakfast and coffee. You can either bring a packed meal from your hotel or your guide will take you to a nearby restaurant.

Bike Through Ancient Civilizations

  • 9:00 AM: Begin your adventure! Follow scenic bike trails along the Angkor Wat
  • moat for about 2.5 km, leading you to a charming small village that once housed elephants.
  • 9:30 AM: Arrive at the main gate of Angkor Thom city. Your guide will provide fascinating insights and point out excellent photo opportunities.
  • 10:00 AM: Step back in time as you explore Angkor Thom, the largest Buddhist city of the late 12th century. Built by King Jayavarman VII and encircled by a 12-kilometer wall, this historical city is a marvel. Your guide will share its rich history before leading you up onto the city’s ramparts.
  • 10:15 AM: Cycle along the ancient walls of Angkor Thom to Prasat Chrong, a former patrol post. Continue your ride to the intriguing Execution Gate, then head to the iconic Bayon Temple.
  • 11:00 AM: Spend approximately 40 minutes at Bayon Temple, famous for its 216 captivating faces. Your guide will highlight prime photo spots and explain the detailed carvings, which depict historical events like the war between Cambodia and the Chams, Chinese influences, and royal processions.

Jungle Trails & Hidden Gems

  • 12:30 PM: Exit Bayon Temple through the historic Ghost Gate (traditionally used by defeated kings) and follow a picturesque jungle trail to the Water Gate, a structure built by the French. Along the way, your guide will reveal small, hidden temples tucked away in the foliage before reaching the renowned Ta Prohm temple.
  • 1:30 PM: Enjoy a local lunch (included in your tour price, drinks are extra) before immersing yourself in the mystical beauty of Ta Prohm temple, famously intertwined with ancient trees.
  • 3:30 PM: Ride approximately 8 kilometers back to Angkor Wat, where you picked up your bike. Alternatively, you can leave your E-bike or E-scooter at the restaurants and take a comfortable tuk-tuk ride back to your hotel.

Discover Ancient Kingdoms by Bike: Next, we’ll pedal into the magnificent Buddhist city built by King Jayavarman VII, a vast historical marvel encircled by a 12-kilometer wall. Your guide will bring its history to life as we explore its main gate and even cycle along the ancient ramparts to a corner patrol post, imagining centuries past.

Iconic Temples, Unforgettable Stories: Prepare to be awestruck as we cycle to Bayon Temple, entering through the historic Execution Gate. Spend about 40 minutes immersed in this iconic temple, famous for its 216 enigmatic faces. Your guide will point out incredible photo opportunities and unveil the stories behind the intricate carvings – from ancient battles to royal processions.

Jungle Trails and Hidden Gems: Exiting Bayon through the symbolic Ghost Gate, we’ll follow a scenic trail through the jungle, revealing smaller, hidden temples before reaching the legendary Ta Prohm temple, famously embraced by the jungle’s roots. Along the way, we’ll even pass the Water Gate, a fascinating piece of French colonial history.
